They are not the real thing, but they're real guitars, so I can forgive their faults, especially because they were so cheap. I love my Dillions, maybe a little bit the way you love the underdog. It cleans up beautifully, especially with both pickups on, and it really sings through a Deluxe Reverb. Not a very powerful guitar, but a very bluesy one. The neck has a pretty substantial profile and fills my hand nicely. Swanky red/yellow sunburst finish with authentic-looking seagull inlays. The hardware is a little cheesy though-the selector switch is crap. Played soft it has a nice horn-like quality but it rivals my Paul for sustain. This is a great guitar the sound is classic V with tons of bonky-sounding midrange.
